CLASS OF 68 40 YEAR REUNION COMMENTS

These comments have been coming in daily. We will post them as we get them.

Your Reunion Committee, Bill, Bob, Daryl, Jay, John, Kathie, Laura, Steve, Tom, Wendy,  would like to thank everyone for a very memorable 40 year reunion. Everything could not have gone smoother. This one has to go down in the history books as one of the best reunions ever. All of you that attended made it the success it was! Fond memories were implanted into all our minds. We would especially like to shout out a BIG THANK YOU to those of you that donated extra. You made it possible to have a ticket price, that is possibly the lowest in any class of '68 history.

Don't let anyone tell us we can't party! Stay tuned for more!

A quick THANK YOU from work on Monday for the great weekend.  I'll write more from home later. I just keep remembering and grin real big.  Really, thanks to all of you that pulled this off again!

Pam Darty

I had **** The Best Time !!! ****  It was sooo much fun seeing faces from the past.  I got to dance with Jay, Richard, Larry and David Reynard!!! I also found Debbie Peterson and another past high school classmate.  I think I had more fun than my class of '72 reunion.  Do you have to wait 7 years for the next one?"

Joan Nelson (Bill Mac Keeman's Sister)

Thanks so much for engineering a terrific class reunion.  Hats off to the committee -- job well done.

And of course, a big appreciation to the Tempests----great talent!

I suggest that we think about having a group 60th. birthday in 2010----followed by a 45th. Class of '68 Reunion in 2013. Maybe the b'day party could be a one day event---similar to the Saturday format this past weekend---saving the two day format for the 45th.

I'm sorry not to have been able to visit with everyone there---a feeling I think we all share. So much catching up to do----so little time in a few days to do it.

Nevertheless, we all managed to be in the same place for two days, basking in the warmth of a very sweet family reunion.

All my best to each of you.

Jerry Thompson

We had a great time.  I have a DVD if you would like to copy and put on the site.  Let me know.

I would like to say a big 'THANK YOU' to everyone who helped pull this off ..........at a price I can't believe we managed. All the feedback I have heard is Positive, and everyone wants to do it again soon! Like Steve said; I'm feeling withdrawals, the weekend just wasn't long enough. I appreciate the opportunity to serve on the committee with all of you, whom I consider good friends !  (Yes, even you TomWinking smiley emoticon)   And a final thought; about that cruise .... Anyone ?

I just want to say thank you to the reunion committee for all the hard work they did to turn us all out and give us such a wonderful weekend.  It was fabulous, I had such a great time, and I just loved seeing everyone.  What a great class we had!

Marcia (Halprin) Marks

Thanks again for all your hard work. We had a great time and loved seeing everyone again, it was so fun!

Tom,

Thank me???  NO, thank YOU and KATHY and all others for getting everyone there & the Tempests for the great entertainment.  Lots more folks this year than last....  Girlfriends I thought I'd not see again.  And guys I knew most of my young life that I didn't even recognize and then others that didn't change a bit.  I only wish I could have stayed up longer! It was SO MUCH fun!!!!

Thanks for the slow song; it's the only one John would dance to.  We wanted to talk with you and Buddy, too, but you were almost always busy.  Next time...  And we're up for a 60th birthday, too!  so include us in.

Again, many thanks for the fun and flashbacks.

Pam

ps, I was still sorry that Tina and you couldn't sing that duet for us one more time.

I really enjoyed Saturday night. Thanks for organizing the event.

Thanks

Howard Miller

I had such a great time seeing everyone at the reunion in St. Pete.  I look forward to the next events.  Unfortunately I didn't take photos, but there were many cameras there, so hopefully they will be shared.  Take care everyone....

Sincerely,
Grant Vuille

just wanted to thank Kathie and Tommy (and all the other that helped) for a great reunion.

Thanks again for a great time.  looking forward to next project.

Jean (Thomas) Tibbetts

Tom & Kathy (and All Reunion Organizers), Maxine and I wish to thank you for your nice hospitality and "GREAT SUCCESSFUL REUNION".
All of you involved must have had your hands full to produce such a success. This event was a good home coming for me and now we're even discussing to purchase a condo in St. Pete Beach.

In closing you can count on Maxine and I attending future events for Class of 68, we had fun, and realized old friendships never die.

Amazing all of us have gone different roads thru life and reunited where it all began. We could never thank you enough and will never forget you.

With Warmest Regards,

Pete & Maxine Mikelis

I had so much fun and seeing all my friends and acquaints so a great time. Seeing Kathie and Tom, Denise Weaver-Johnsen, Dave Reynard, Pete and Lexie Mikelis, Buddy Peterson, just on and on and yes Larry Yonkers, and Mr. Larry Welch who thought he didn't want to come. Glad you did it was good to see ya. To see so many people get together and have the great time we all did really amazed me. People from Thailand, Hawaii, my how we all come back together. Yes, I want to stay  in touch with everyone and definitely lets do a cruise, big get together at a resort somewhere, just all don't wait till there's not many left. Let's not forget the one's past for they were there in spirit if not in body. If anyone has pictures, video, please send me some at flaldy58@hotmail.com or mail to 56 Fir Drive Ocala, Fl. 34472. Everyone there please lets not forget each other for we began it all. Love to all and to all take care.

Saturday Night Dance GREAT TIME!!!!

Karen Roberts

I just finished viewing the photos of our reunion.  How great it was to relive those wonderful memories of that fabulous weekend!  John and I are both interested in a 60th birthday party and a 45th reunion.  A cruise would be a first choice for us, but we know we'd enjoy doing anything with the great group of people who attend our reunions.  I wonder if others know what they're missing.  We hope you all realize how very much your hard work meant to everyone.

Becky and John Shaner

Hi folks,
I'm really sorry that I missed the reunion. I would have really liked to have made it down for that. Since I live in Alaska I have to plan things out a little. I would also love to get together for the party but it is just to short on time. I would love to hear from anyone that would like to correspond and hear a little bit about Alaska and me for the last 40 years.
Thanks guys,
Mike Koons

Thank you for a wonderful 40th reunion.  I had a blast! It was great to see everyone and catch up on all the news. Thanks again for all the hard work that went into making a great time for the class of '68.
